Visvesvaraya Technological University and recognized by the Government of

KNS Institute of Technology (KNSIT), Bangalore was
started in the year 2001 & formally inaugurated on 17th October 2002 by
Smt. Sonia Gandhi, Honourable President of All India Congress Committee in the
presence of distinguished personalities like Sri S.M.Krishna, former Chief
Minister of Karnataka (presently the Governor of Maharashtra), late Dr Raja
Ramanna, renowned Scientist of world repute who was the first chairman of the
governing council of KNSIT till his demise, Dr Natarajan former Chairman AICTE,
New Delhi.
