B.Tech Admission in Odisha 2017

For B.Tech admission, the aspiring candidates are required to fill the application for of JEE Main 2017. Students can apply for JEE Main in the first week of December. The basic eligibility criteria for B.Tech admission is mentioned below:
    Candidates have to pass the 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized educational board.
    In the qualifying examination, students should have Physics, Mathematics and any one of the Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subjects.
    12th examination should be passed with 45% marks (40 % for reserved category candidates).
Selection Procedure
B.Tech admission in Odisha is done through JEE Main. The entrance exam qualified candidates will be  called for counselling process. At the time of counselling, candidates have to fill choices for streams and colleges. College will be allotted to the students on the basis of marks on JEE Main 2017 entrance exam and the option filled by the candidates. After seat allotment, candidates need to report to the allotted institute and complete the admission process.
