VEE (Vels Entrance Examination) will be conducted probably in the month of May, 2016 and submission of application form will begin from December, 2015. By qualifying VEE 2016 candidates will be capable to get admission to its B.E or B.Tech courses. VEE 2016 Eligibility Criteria
- Age of candidates should not be more than 25 years.
- For admission to B.E or B.Tech course, candidates should have cleared class XII or its equivalent exam along with subjects namely Physics, Chemistry and Math.
- For admission to B.Sc. (Nautical Sciences and B.E (Marine Engineering), candidates should have secured 60% marks aggregate in PCM in 10+2. Candidates must have acquired 50% marks in English at class X or XII.
VEE 2016 Application Form: How to Apply?
It is possible to obtain the application form in online mode from the official website and in offline mode by post or by person.
How to apply online?
In order to apply in online mode, candidates need to apply though the official website and thereafter they need to submit an application fee of Rs. Rs.800 via debit card/credit card/net banking. Please have a look on the complete procedure to apply in online mode:
- Go to the official website i.e. velsuniv.ac.in.
- Fill up the application form by providing valid information.
- After inserting all data, verify whether inserted data is valid or not.
- If you want to do some modification then do the same within 30 days.
- Do the payment via credit card or debit card.
- Candidates can also do the payment through demand draft and it should be payable at Chennai.
Candidates can obtain the application form in person by paying the amount of Rs. 800 through cash or demand draft. Besides, candidates can also request for the application form via post with demand draft of Rs.850.

VEE 2016 Admit Card
Candidates can download their admit card by entering the application number at its official website. All candidates need to bring admit card along with them while coming to the examination hall. Candidates are also advised to bring a photo identity proof along with them while coming to the examination hall.
VEE 2016 Result
After announcement of the result, candidates will be capable to view their result at its official website. Result of VEE exam 2016 is usually released by the university within 15-20 days from the exam. It’ll be possible to check the result by entering the roll number and date of birth. Candidates should take print out of their result as they will feel the necessity for the same at the time of counselling.
