UPSEE 2016-17: Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, exam pattern

UPSEE (UP State Entrance exam) is a state level examination conducted by UPTU every year for the  Candidates who want to get admission in management, engineering, pharmacy, architecture and many other programs. The interested and eligible applicants can apply for UPSEE 2016 (after release of official notification) either through online or offline mode. The UPSEE admit cards will be issued online to appear the examination.

1st year in- BHMCT/ B.Arch/ BFA/ MAM/ MBA/ B.Tech/ BFAD/ B.Pharm/ MCA
2nd year in- B.Tech/ B.Pharm/ MCa (lateral entry)
Required Eligibility Criteria to appear in UPSEE 2016
For B.Tech & B.Pharm: The candidate must have qualified UP Board higher secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university. The candidate must have obtain at least 45% marks (40% for candidate belonging to SC/ST) without grace in required each compulsory subjects and one elective subject taken collectively.
For B.Arch: The candidates must have qualified higher secondary UP Board examination or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university. The candidates who hold 3 years Diploma in Architecture acknowledged by Central or State Govt. can also apply for UPSEE 2016. The candidates must have obtained at least of 50% marks without grace in each compulsory and elective subject.
For BFAD/ BHMCT/ BFA: The candidates must have qualified higher secondary UP Board examination or equivalent examination from a recognized university or board. They must have obtained at least of 45% marks without any grace (40% for candidates belonging to SC/ST) in aggregate.
How to apply for UPSEE:
The applicants can apply for UPSEE 2016 either through online or offline mode. The candidates can apply by online medium via the official website of the university and in offline medium with the help of desk centre of the university. The completely filled UPSEE 2016 application form (in both cases online and offline) has to be submitted at the below mentioned address on or before due date:

The General and OBC category applicants have to pay Rs 1000/ as application fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories). The payment for application form can be made through Credit card/ Debit card/Net Banking.

UPSEE 2016 Examination pattern:
The UPSEE 2016 will consist of multiple choice questions (except drawing paper as part B of paper IV for Architecture course). Each paper carries different total marks like paper I, II & III carries out 600 marks and paper IV carries out 500 marks and paper V, VI, VII & VIII carries out 300 marks and paper IX, X, XI & XII carries out 400 marks.
Each correct answer will be awarded with 4 marks and there will be no negative marking. For Under Graduate programs all the papers will be conducted in an offline mode in Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format. All the papers will be held in both Hindi & English language, except part A of paper IV. Alternatively for Post Graduate courses all the papers will be held in an online mode in Multiple Choice Question format.
