Tripura Board Joint Entrance Exam which is famous as TB JEE 2016 will be conducted on 26 and 27th April, 2016 for admission to several UG engineering courses in the private as well as government engineering colleges of India. Candidates will be able to purchase the application form from 26th December, 2015.

Tripura JEE 2016 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be a citizen of India and Tripura state. Or,
• Parent of students have been living in the Tripura state from last ten years. Or,
• Candidate should be a child of ex-servicemen. In such cases, candidates will have to show the proof that their parents have been living from last 5 years.
• Candidates must have studied class 12th examination along with subjects Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.

Tripura JEE 2016 Application Form: How to Apply?

Candidates are eligible to obtain the application form either through cash, post or simply can be downloaded from the official website. In order to obtain the prospectus candidates will have to pay Rs. 80/-.

Tripura JEE 2016 Application Fees

For SC & ST candidates: Rs.300/-

For General candidates: Rs 350/-

For BPL General Candidates: Rs.250/-

For BPL SC & ST candidates: Rs.200/-

Tripura JEE 2016 Exam Pattern

• Questions will be included in the question paper from Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
• Candidates will find 50 questions of 100 marks in each paper and hence the total marks by combining all the four papers will be 400.
• Tripura JEE 2016 syllabus pattern will be completely based on class 11th and 12th
• Only multiple choice based questions will be asked in the question paper.
• There will be no negative marking in the exam.
• For engineering course, candidates will have to appear in Group A (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics).
• For medical or other courses, candidates will have to appear in Group B (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
• For both, candidates will have to appear in Group C (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology).

Candidates will get admission into the colleges of Manipur on the basis of rank score by them in entrance exam.
