MHT CET 2016 Eligibility criteria

There are some conditions which need to be satisfied by the candidates before appearing for this examination. The necessary eligibility criteria for MHT CET Medical 2016 exam is as follows:

• The applicant must have qualified Senior Secondary Class or equivalent examination from an affiliated institution based in Maharashtra state.
• An applicant who has cleared Senior Secondary Class or equivalent examination from an institute located outside Maharashtra State and Higher Secondary Class or correspondent examination in Maharashtra State is also eligible to apply for taking admission in Health Science courses provided that he/ she is residence of Maharashtra state.

Syllabus for MHT CET 2016

Syllabus for Reasoning & Numerical ability includes:

Geometry, (Lines, angles, Triangles, Spheres, Rectangles, Cube, Cone etc), Quadratic and linear equations, Ratios and Proportion, Profit and Loss, Averages, Percentages, In-equations, Algebra, Percentages, Time-Speed-Distance, Work and time, Allegation and Mixtures, Probability, Work, Simple Interest and Compound Interest, Arithmetic progression and mean, Set Theory, Permutations and Combination, LCM, HCF, Geometric Progression, Median, Harmonic mean, Geometric mean, Mode and Number Base System

Syllabus for Data Interpretation (DI) includes

Bar Graphs, Column graphs, Line charts, Venn diagram, Pie Chart, Graphs representing Area etc

Syllabus for English will include:

Verbal Reasoning, Poems, Analogies, Jumbled paragraphs with 4/5 sentences, Antonyms, Foreign language words used in English, Sentence Correction, Sentence correction, Sentence completion, Odd man out, One word substitution, Idioms, Different usage of same word, etc

MHT CET 2016 examination Pattern

MHT CET 2016 exam will be comprised of total 200 multiple choice objective type questions. The duration of this exam will be 180 minutes. In this exam there will be no negative marking for wrong responses. The exam will conduct in English or Marathi or Urdu language.
