Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) 2016 is leading UG and PG state level entrance exam hosted by the Association of Medical, Dental and Engineering Colleges called as the Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation Trust (KPCF). COMEDK UGET 2016 required eligibility criteria

This test holds different eligibility parameters for various courses. Specific eligibility scheme for the medical/engineering/ dental, and architecture courses are mentioned below.

For MBBS & BDS courses:

• The applicants, who wants to get admission in medical educational courses; must have cleared 12th standard or equivalent exam from an affiliated board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects with at least of 50% marks for candidate belongings to General category and 40% marks for a candidate of SC/ST/OBC category.
• The minimum age of candidate for MBBS/BDS Courses must be 17 years as on or before the month of examination year.

For B.Tech or B.E courses:

General category candidates who want to enroll in engineering courses; must have passed 12th or equivalent examination from recognized board with minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (40% marks for a candidate of SC/ST/OBC category). The Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects with the optional subject such as Chemistry, computer science, Biotechnology, biology or electronics. The exam will conduct in English language only.

For B. Arch courses:

Candidates who want to get enrollment in architecture educational courses; must have qualified 10+2 examination or equivalent examination from affiliated board with mathematics as mandatory subject with at least of 50% marks for candidate belongings to General category and 45% marks for a candidate of SC/ST/OBC category. The applicants must have cleared NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) with minimum of 80 marks out of 200.

COMEDK 2016 exam Syllabus: the exam will contain questions from 10+2 level core subjects.

COMEDK 2016 examination Pattern:

The duration of time for COMEDK 2016 will be 3 hours (engineering courses only. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. There will be 2 papers for both engineering and medical courses

For both engineering and medical courses there will be set of two papers as physics, math and chemistry with paper-one of 180 minutes duration and biology and English in a paper-two of 120 minutes duration.

For medical course only there will be set of two papers as physics and chemistry with paper-one of 120 minutes duration and biology & English in a paper-two of 120 minutes duration.
